When to use these tools:
- Once you learn where you may be lacking or have excess in terms of elements in your chart, you can add a few of these tools into your spiritual practice regularly to help add balance.
- You are also welcome to rely on these tools based on transits taking place. For example, if we have a pile-up of planets in fire signs, you may want to look to the element of the opposing polarities for help. Fire is active so relying on water or earth can be beneficial. If we're moving through heavy air transits then relying on water or earth may help. You'll learn to gauge what you need intuitively as you practice this a bit more.
If you're lacking Earth...

- Doing tree of life type meditations can help you grow stability within you and help you be grounded.
- Doing salt baths or doing mud and clay facials can be healing and a form of care for your skin.
- Carrying a pouch of salt with you to cleanse your hands when you feel off energetically can help. Use the salt when you wash your hands.
- Working with crystals can be beneficial but I highly suggest you learn to commune with the crystals and establish a true connection with them as opposed to only carrying them around or setting them down. I'll write more about this in the future.
- Caring for a plant will be really healing too. It may be difficult at first, but be gentle with yourself. Name the plant, when you water it, drink water. When you fertilize it, nurture yourself with supplements. Plant little crystals alongside the roots.
If you're lacking Water...
- Those who are earth or fire heavy especially need to make sure they drink adequate amounts of water each day. The suggested amount is about half of your weight in ounces. If you don't generally measure your weight, I would suggest rounding up from an estimate and assuming at least 64oz.
- Taking routine baths, especially around the new and/or full moon can be very helpful and a good way to tune into the lunar energy.

- Visiting natural bodies of water when you're able to can be very healing and serve as a strong cleanse.
- Tracking your mood and emotions can be very helpful in learning to tune into your emotional bodies.
- Some folks may benefit from having an emotion chart handy that they can use to help them understand what feelings they are moving through at any given time.
- Relying more on water for cleansing versus smoke, especially if you are fire heavy can help. Blue anil or camphor in a glass of water, eggs in a glass of water, holy water in a glass flipped upside down, are a few ways you can work with water to cleanse you. Keep it near you while you sleep or up high on a shelf.
If you're lacking Fire...
- (ALWAYS practice fire safety, plz and thank you).
- You may benefit from eating "hot" foods including spicy foods as many of them are associated with the element of fire.

- Working with fire in ritual will always benefit you. This may be incorporating candle work in much of your workings or doing rituals that help you burn and release.
- Doing cleansing with fire and smoke can help. White fire limpias are one way to do this. You can also do things like light Florida water on fire in a fire-safe container.
- Using spiritual colognes that are alcohol based are one way to add more fire energy.
- Doing physical movements and routines that amp up your energy and get your blood flowing such as kick boxing, running, HITT, etc.
